Jeffrey E. O'Neil, D.D.S.

Dr. O’Neil earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1987 and continued his formal training with a General Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota. He has also served as a clinical assistant professor at the U of MN School of Dentistry.

Associated with O’Neil Dental Center since 1990, Dr. O’Neil is dedicated to his personal continuing professional education. He is an “early adapter” of new dental technology and techniques that enable O’Neil Dental Center to consistently enhance and improve our patients’ care and comfort.

Dr. O’Neil is a member of, and serves on several committees within, the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. He is also an honorary member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, which promotes the elevation of the standards and practices of the art and science of dentistry worldwide. Mpls. St. Paul magazine has recognized Dr. O’Neil as a top Twin Cities dentist and has been recognized as a Top Dentist in Minnesota Monthly.

Dr. O’Neil lives in Chanhassen with his wife, Mary, his three children, and is active in his church. He enjoys golf, watching and coaching his children’s sports, and spending time at their family cabin in Northern Minnesota.

Kelly K. Stark, D.D.S.

Dr. Stark graduated from St. Olaf College in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Chemistry and German. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2003.

Dr. Stark joined O’Neil Dental Center in 2008, after working for five years in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis. She is excited to be a part of a dental practice which is regarding to be amongst the best in the cities. Even though great dentistry relies on attention to detail, Dr. Stark believes that educating the patient is crucial, along with an empathetic ear and a gentle touch.

Dr. Stark is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also stays current on the latest advances in dentistry through multiple study clubs, including the Twin Cities Periodontics Study Club, the Southwest Implant Study Club, and the Metropolitan Women’s Study Club. She has also been named as a Top Dentist by Mpls. St. Paul magazine.

While away from the office, you can often find Dr. Stark walking around the lakes with her husband and two children. She also loves to check out the newest restaurants, play with her boys, and travel the world when she can.

	Lisa Matthies, Office Manager Lisa has been caring for our patients and their smiles at O’Neil Dental Center since 1986. She truly enjoys welcoming our patients and making them feel at ease and comfortable. 	April Kalman, Licensed Dental Assistant April graduated from dental assisting school in 1992. She is CPR certified and has been helping O’Neil Dental Center care for our patients and their smiles since 1998. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. 	Carrie Erickson, Certified Licensed Dental Assistant Carrie has a B.S. degree, with a major in communication/information management from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul. She graduated from dental assistant school in 1996, is a member of the Dental Assistant National Board, and is CPR certified. When she’s not providing gentle care to O’Neil Dental Center patients, Carrie stays busy taking care of her children and spending time with her husband, as well as at their family cabin and outdoors. carrieerickson@oneildental.com

	Janna McDonald, Licensed Dental Assistant Janna graduated as a dental assistant from Hennepin Technical College in 2005 and is CPR certified. Since 2009, Janna has cared for our patients and their smiles. A Plymouth resident, she enjoys volleyball, running, cooking and spending summer days on the lake. jannamcdonald@oneildental.com

	Liz Jacobs, Licensed Dental Assistant Liz graduated as a dental assistant from Hennepin Technical College in 2006. She has been with O’Neil Dental Center since 2010, is CPR certified, and enjoys educating patients about their oral health. Liz lives in St. Louis Park, and in her free time she likes playing with her dog, and enjoys sports as well as time with her friends and family. lizjacobs@oneildental.com

	Sue Maltese, Licensed Dental Hygienist Sue received her dental hygiene degree from Century Community College. She has been with O’Neil Dental Center since 1997 and is CPR certified. Sue lives in Minneapolis with her husband and daughter. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. suemaltese@oneildental.com

	Marnie Kane, Licensed Dental Hygienist A former dental assistant and 1988 dental hygienist graduate of Normandale College, Marnie also is CPR certified and has been working at O’Neil Dental Center since 2002. Marnie and her husband have two children, and when she’s not working with patients, she likes to spend time with her kids, work out, read, golf, and go on date nights with her husband. marniekane@oneildental.com

	Gretchen Bastyr, Licensed Dental Hygienist Gretchen graduated as a dental hygienist from Normandale Community College in 2004 and is CPR certified. While going to hygiene school, she worked at our office gaining more experience in the dental field. Gretchen came back to join our team in 2010. She works both hygiene and front desk and really enjoys both aspects of dentistry. Gretchen lives in New Prague with her husband and two little girls.
